I am very proud to announce the formation of the Board of Directors for your Turnbull Preservation Group.
After many weeks and months of hard and ground-breaking effort, we are excited to begin our work dedicated to addressing the need for the larger communities on whole, Dickson, Hickman, Williamson and Cheatham Counties, to protect the most valuable yet vulnerable asset we all have – our naturally abundant water resources in Turnbull Creek and its tributaries.
Our battle is just beginning considering an overwhelming and dangerous first threat to our ecosystem. Our mission is simple: to protect and preserve this watershed for today and for our posterity. Over the coming weeks and months, you will hear from us on many different issues and fronts related to your right to clean drinking water and our intent to represent all our communities in so doing. We are not a single-issue entity but rather a conservation group with dedicated purpose for generations to follow.
I encourage you to fully engage in this effort. It has not been so long ago we have witnessed the devastating effects of groundwater contamination. Not to be lost in any of this is the impact having a reliable and dependable source of clean water has on sustainability for all residents and businesses.
Our Board members include John Reuter, without whose effort this watershed may have already sustained significant and permanent damage. Joining John are Miranda Williams, Luke Fielder and Wayne Gray. Each have unique assignment and incredible desire to protect and defend your water resource. My name is Jeff Lunn and I am honored to serve as your President. We have an Advisory Council to whom we report, and we are graciously represented by Rodger Waynick, Attorney at Waynick Law in Dickson, TN.
Please join us as we begin this enduring effort to protect and preserve your watershed. All our communities’ benefit from our success. On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your past support.
The Planning Commission:
This means your Planning Commissioners listened to you, investigated on their own, and made the right decisions. The Planning Commission agreed that Titan failed to show this was properly designed and safe for the community.

If allowed, the Dickson Fuel Terminal has serious implications for people throughout the area around Mile Marker 172 on I-40, near the I-840 interchange. Air quality, water quality and the thought of 115 trucks traveling rural roads twice per day is a staggering price to pay -- and all the community stands to gain are 3 mid-level jobs.
Legal battles against massive organizations are expensive. Our attorney, Waynick Law, is doing everything possible to keep costs to a minimum. It will still take many hours of hard work to create appeals and continue the legal battle to save our community's water and air.
